Terms of use

Reppilo is a website run by Eduhuis V.O.F., Biesterveld 9, 7251 VR Vorden, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 42200688.

Questions about these terms go to info@eduhuis.nl. We usually answer within a few working days.

These terms apply to everyone using Reppilo, with an account and without one.

The tools on the site are free to use. Some parts need a free account, for instance to keep your groups and your favourite tools.

By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

An account is meant for teachers, tutors and other adults. If you are under 16, do not create an account without your parents' permission. The tools themselves work without an account, so you never need one to use them.

You choose a strong password and keep your login details to yourself. If something happens to your account that you do not recognise, let us know at info@eduhuis.nl.

You can delete your account yourself at any time in your settings. Everything under it goes with it.

Use the tools in your lesson, at home, on a training day and on the board of the classroom next door. You do not have to ask.

What is not allowed:

Some tools ask you to enter data, such as the names in a group. That data stays yours. We only use it to make the tool work.

You decide what you enter, and you are responsible for it. Enter no more than you need: a first name is enough to split a class. Do not enter sensitive details, such as anything about a pupil's health, beliefs, background or behaviour.

The tools on the site are free, and what is free now stays free.

What is paid is in the school license below. You see the price before you take anything out, and you can cancel yourself.

With the school license the pupils of a school sign in and practise themselves, the team shares classes, the class plays together and you see per pupil which goals have been reached. The school takes it out; an administrator does that for the school, on the school page under License.

The license runs for a year from the day it is taken out, and is then renewed for a year every year on that day. If the school still had a trial, the year starts when the trial ends. You can cancel on the school page until the day of the renewal; the license then runs until the end of the year.

When it is taken out and at every renewal the school gets an invoice, with thirty days to pay. The price is on the pricing page and includes VAT. If the price changes, the new price only applies from the next renewal, and thirty days before that renewal we email the administrators what it costs. An invoice that has been sent still stands, even if the school cancels afterwards.

If an invoice is not paid sixty days after it is due, everything stops until it is paid: pupils cannot sign in, and sharing, playing together and the insight are off. Nothing is lost, and as soon as the invoice is paid everything is back on. Fourteen days before, we email the administrators and the invoice address. A school that has stopped this way is not renewed.

The school license is for schools, so for an organisation and not for a consumer. The right of withdrawal for an online purchase therefore does not apply.

We do our best to keep the site running, but we promise no uninterrupted availability. There is maintenance, things break, and an outage at our hosting provider is an outage here.

We may change or retire tools. If a tool that holds data of yours disappears, we say so beforehand by email to the address on your account, so you can keep what is in it.

Plan for a lesson in which the site is down. A tool on the board is useful, but no lesson should stand or fall by it.

The tools are offered as they are. We are not liable for damage arising from using the site, from an outage, or from data being lost.

Where liability does arise, it is limited to what you paid for use in the twelve months before. For free use, that is nothing.

This limit does not apply to intent or deliberate recklessness on our part, and not to damage the law does not allow to be excluded.

The site, the name, the design, the copy and the tools belong to Eduhuis V.O.F.. You may use them as described above, but not copy them or rebuild them as a service of your own.

What you enter stays yours. We claim no rights to it.

We may change these terms, for instance when something about the site changes. The top of this page says when the text was last updated.

For an important change we say so on the site or by email, if you have an account. Keep using the site after that and the new terms apply.

If something went wrong, email info@eduhuis.nl first. Most things are settled that way.

These terms are governed by Dutch law. If we cannot work it out together, the dispute goes to the competent court in the Netherlands.
